3D visualization and documentation of pipe design

With the notified bodies’ increased focus on design of pipe systems and PED, pipe design has become one of STENSBO’s core competencies. With 3D Plant programs and pipe calculation software, efficient and professional handling and PED documentation of pipe systems are ensured.

With our 3D flat layout and with the possibility of 3D scan, of existing equipment and buildings. On site, a visual environment is performed by piping and surroundings. This provides an optimal basis for pipe design and minimal adaptation, in the execution and production of the pipe system.

The 3D visualization provides optimal working conditions and a close cooperation with our customer, who throughout the process has an overview of the project’s progress and how early determination and reconciliation of expectations minimizes the time spent in performing the necessary documentation.

In the pre-planning and / or bidding phase, with a few funds, a visual design foundation can be created that gives great value and gives a more real picture of the cost of the project.

Pipe stress and flexibility analysis

With associated pipe stress analysis, a complete pipe package is obtained, taking into account thermal expansion, bearing type and secondary steel, frequency analysis, pressure shock (hammer fluid), wind load and earthquake, as well as taking into account loads on containers and equipment, even the most complicated pipe designs can be calculated and ensured an optimal pipe design.
